Funerals

The time surrounding the death of a loved one is always a difficult one, and members of our clergy team are here to help and support, whether or not you have any previous association with the church. They will discuss your plans for the funeral and help to put together a draft order of service, ensuring that the funeral is a very personal occasion and a fitting tribute to the person you have lost.

The service can take place in one of our churches followed by a short committal at the graveside or at the cremation. Alternatively, it can take place entirely at the Crematorium. The Garden of Rest in Denham Lane in Chalfont St Peter is administered by Chalfont St Peter Parish Council. The Chilterns Crematorium in Amersham has two chapels, one of which can seat up to 160 mourners.
