From time to time during the Christian year, particularly at festival times, we have special services and events.
Calling All Local Artists!
This Feast Fringe season, our church is opening its doors in a special way, inviting
artists and aspiring creatives to come in, experience and capture the beauty of the
building through painting and sketching, mixed media or whatever takes your
fancy.
Join us in May for three Saturdays (9th, 16th, and 23rd from 10am til 2pm) of quiet
inspiration, where you can explore the space, study its details, and create your
own unique interpretation. Help us bring this historic building to life through art,
reimagining its character and atmosphere in fresh, creative ways, and in doing
so, help connect this cherished and sacred space with the contemporary world.
Whether you’re an experienced artist or just starting out, whether you’re getting
on a bit, or a young budding artist, you’re warmly welcome.
Selected works will be featured in a community exhibition during the Feast Fringe
period, celebrating creativity, perspective, and the shared story of this place, past
and present.
